NAIMA Canada Appoints Kapuscinski Technical Director

October 16, 2009 (Ottawa, ON) — In the effort to continue to highlight the impact insulation can have in improving the envrionment, sustainability, and energy efficiency, the industry association, NAIMA Canada has named Marek Kapuscinski Director of Technical Services.

"Marek comes to us as a well-respected expert," says NAIMA Canada's Exectuive, Stephen Koch. "He'll be responsible for managing technical activities and standards related to promoting the advantages of fibre glass and mineral wool insulation."

Kapuscinski will provide a real time impact to the association and its members with Underwriters Laboratories (UL), American Standards and Testing Materials (ASTM), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to the benefit of our industry.

"I'm looking forward to this opportunity," Kapuscinski said. "The insulation industry has a lot to offer in providing value to all Canadians looking to energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions."
