Follow these steps to become a Green Ontario Fund participating contractor – Insulation Training Course

Please note: You can only offer the incentives to your customers after your full approval in the program.

STEP 1

Ensure you have all all required documentation. Click the button below to see all requirements and start your process.

All Required Documentation:

  • Proof of company’s Master Business License/Articles of Incorporation (Need to have been in business for at least 2 years)
  • Proof of company’s general liability insurance (Must state company name, policy number, expiry date and minimum $2 million coverage per occurrence)
  • Proof of company’s auto insurance (Must state company name or personal name, only if sole proprietor, expiry date and minimum $1 million coverage)
  • E-clearance certificate from WSIB this can be made out to either HRAI or the IESO. Making it out to the “Independent Electricity System Operator” generates the best results. If you are a sole proprietor and/or do not have employee technicians, then you don’t need to provide proof of WSIB

STEP 3

Complete your registration by downloading the Contractor Participation Agreement and submit it to greenonrebates@summerhill.com

Note: If you are participating in Insulation only – submit form to greenonrebates@summerhill.com
If you are taking the Insulation course in addition to any other course – submit form to greenonrebates@hrai.ca

 

STEP 4

All Contractors registering to install insulation must provide evidence of completion of NAIMA Insulation & Air Sealing Contractor Training Program within 30 days of registration for the GreenON Rebates Program.

 

Full Instructions

Follow the instructions below to complete your company’s registration for the GreenON Program.

Required Documentation:
  • Download the GreenON Contractor Participation Agreement

Contractors registering to install Spray Foam insulation must also provide photo ID evidence of current certification by:

  • CUFCA or;
  • Building Professional Inc. or;
  • Morrison Hershfield Quality Assurance Program or;
  • Urethane Foam Consultants – NOTE: Photo ID and 5 year certificate required for UFC

Subcontractor Letter

This is a requirement ONLY if you hire subcontractor technicians to perform your company’s installations.

Your subcontractor technician/company must sign the blank subcontractor statement form, confirming that they perform installations on behalf of your company. You as well must provide copies of each of their technician’s licenses and/or proof of training completion. Click here for the subcontractor letter.
